Propte: a Xero connected app

Short for Property Technology, this startup is named after Australia's national obsession.

Hi there,

Australians love to talk about real estate prices. It's a national obsession. In 2020 when I had to register my company name I didn't know what my idea was going to be but I knew it would likely be in the real estate space. That’s why I called this venture “Propte", as in Property Technology.

It turns out Propte’s first product is a utility for exporting Xero data. User research identified that there is a need for business customers to export their Xero data and this product has a larger addressable market size than real estate on its own so I thought it would be a good product to ship first.
